Day 3 – Stopping For The Night
Hi everyone,
I wanted to send Curt’s evening update since he is currently out of cell range. I’m sorry I don’t have any new photos to share. But his service has been “iffy” all day.
I was able to talk to him briefly, around 4:50 p.m., as he stood at the top of Kane Gap. He sounded in great spirits.
Yesterday, he had mentioned Joan Boyd Short of The Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail Association. Well, today, Joan’s husband met him at the base of the mountain, and walked the ascent toward Kane Gap with him for a while.
Since that conversation, I’ve received two messages from his GPS.
Thu Mar 12th, 6:37 p.m.
In valley. No cell service. Dont know when I’ll get it. All is good.
and
Thu Mar 12th, 8:22 p.m.
Stopped for night. No cell. Post something from you.
Thank you all for the continued support and prayers along the way!
